Surgery

Addison had her adenoid removal and PE tube sugery yesterday. The 15 minute surgery turned into a 1 hour surgery. During surgery, her oxygen levels desaturated and it was necessary to give her oxygen throughout the surgery. Thankfully, in recovery, her oxygen levels were stable so she didn't have to be admitted. She still has bronchitis (which she was on antibiotics for 2 weeks prior to surgery)...now she is on another round of antibiotics to hopefully rid her of this. She still has all the snot due to bronchitis, therefore, is still having some difficulty breathing through her nose and continues breathing through her mouth. She came home and slept most of the day and played later in the evening. Overall, she is breathing much easier and appears to feel better than she has in the last many months. Once we get rid of the bronchitis and can breathe freely out of her nose, I hope she will be totally healthy! Addison is such a trooper!

One more day until Addison's surgery. She is having PE tubes put in and her adenoids removed. I hope that this makes her feel better and take care of this congestion and not being able to breathe. She has really struggled for many months with all of this and I want her to be a healthy little girl! She has had a rough start in life with all that she has been through...though Addison has been in good spirits through it all...such a strong baby she is!

Finally got a picture of my top 4 teeth! Dad and I were playing and he hung me upside down while mom took this great shot!

Sippy Cup

I tried a trainer sippy cup today with Addison for the first time. She did an amazing job...I was impressed with how well she did!

For at least a couple of months, Addison has been cruising along furniture. She has had the ability to push her shopping cart but gets distracted by the toys on the cart. She got this stroller from her Aunt Angela and she actually pushed it across the floor without getting distracted. I was so proud of her!
