A little behind on blogging...Halloween Pics!

Addison was Minnie Mouse for Halloween! She had a great time at Trunk-R-Treat at Faith Baptist Church. She got the hang of grabbing candy and putting it in her Elmo bucket...it was great fun.

Tonsilectomy Day

We arrived at LeBonheur East Surgery Center at 6:30 and got checked in. We put Addison in a yellow gown and then she got to go play with toys in the waiting room...fun fun for her! We then went to the "Bunny Hallway" so Addison could pick out a toy. The toy she got was a doctor kit...I just know she will love it! We then had to give her hugs and kisses and off to surgery she went. 45 minutes later Addison's surgery was finished and was successful. We went back to see Addison, she was a little upset coming off of the anesthesia. We were in recovery for about an hour and a half and then we got to go home. The nurse said Addison was an excellent patient and felt that she had a high tolerance for pain...our tough little girl!!!! Addison was pretty sleepy and cranky throughout the day...which was expected. We are hoping for a speedy recovery! Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers!
